WHY NOT
YESHUA?
The gospel is not merely an argument to consider. Scripture says something far more radical must happen.
God must open blind eyes, give life to the dead, remove the heart of stone, and draw sinners to His Son.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

No Man Can Come
Scripture does not describe humanity as spiritually neutral. Apart from grace, we do not naturally come to Yeshua, seek the things of God, or understand the glory of the gospel.
If anyone comes to the Messiah, it is because God has first acted. The Father draws. God opens the heart. God gives eyes to see.
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

God Chose The Foolish
God overturns human pride. What the world calls foolish, weak, base, or despised is exactly where God displays His power.
Salvation leaves no room for boasting in human wisdom, human strength, or human righteousness.
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.

Christ Crucified
Jews seek a sign. Greeks seek wisdom. Yet God presents a crucified Messiah.
The Son of God wounded for sinners. The innocent condemned for the guilty. The righteous dying for the unrighteous.
For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

The Natural Man
Your greatest need is not merely more information.
The things of God are spiritually discerned. The natural person cannot manufacture spiritual sight.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

You Must Be Born Again
You are unable to come to Yeshua merely through the strength of your own flesh, intellect, morality, religion, or will.
Something must happen to you that you cannot manufacture yourself.
God must give life where there is death. Sight where there is blindness. And a new heart where there is stone.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

A Heart Of Flesh
Ask the God of heaven to pierce through your heart of stone.
Ask Him to expose your sin. Ask Him to remove your blindness. Ask Him to give you a heart of flesh that sees Christ not as foolishness, but as glorious.
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

From Darkness Into Light
Salvation is not God helping you improve the life you already have.
God calls sinners out of darkness and into His marvelous light.
He rescues them from the dominion of darkness and brings them into the kingdom of His beloved Son.
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.

Open Their Eyes
Ask God for grace to open your eyes so that you may see, and your ears so that you may hear.
Forgiveness and inheritance are found in Christ, received by faith.
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Repent. Believe.
Turn from your sin. Stop defending it. Stop hiding it. Stop trusting in yourself.
Confess your sin before God. Ask Him for mercy. Ask Him for forgiveness. Ask Him for grace.
Ask Him to open your eyes so that you may see. Ask Him to open your ears so that you may hear.
Look by faith to Yeshua, the One who was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities.
The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Come To Yeshua
You do not need to clean yourself up before coming to Him.
Come with your sin. Come with your guilt. Come with your weariness. Come with the burden you cannot carry.
Stop trusting in your own righteousness. Stop trying to save yourself.
Repent of your sin and look to Yeshua by faith.
The One who calls sinners to repent is also the One who invites the weary to come.
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

COME TO YESHUA.
Weary. Burdened. Guilty.
Ask God to give you eyes to see, ears to hear, and a heart of flesh.
Confess your sin. Ask for mercy. Turn from your sin and trust in the Messiah who was wounded for our transgressions.
